On April 16, 2015, Howard University Research Day celebrated the breadth of research being conducted across the University. Research from the Biofilm Engineering and Drug Discovery (BEDD) Group was featured.

Dr. Yaolin Liu, Postdoctoral Research Associate in Environmental Engineering, will present her research titled “Impacts of nanomaterials on bacterial growth, biofilm formation, and microbial community function” at the 249th ACS National Meeting & Exposition at the Colorado Convention Center (Denver, CO) on March 22, 2015.

A joint proposal from our lab and Dr Lipcomb’s lab has been selected for funding for the 2014 Research Resources and Small Equipment Program supported by the Office of the Associate Provost for Research and Graduate Studies.
