The 2023 AIChE Annual Meeting , the premier educational forum for chemical engineers interested in innovation and professional growth, took place on November 5 through 10, 2023, in Orlando, FL. It was also the perfect forum for students from the Biofilm Engineering and Drug Discovery (BEDD) lab and their peers to showcase their research projects.
Sarees Shaikh, a MS graduate student in Chemical Engineering and member of the BEDD lab, presented a research project titled “A Matlab-Based Analysis of the Dynamics and Organization of Staphylococcus aureus Surface Adhesion in a Bioflux 200 System”. The project was funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF CMMI award # 2000330).
